Phase One: Self-Understanding
- Self-Understanding uses an evidence and strength-based approach that assists a participant through a process of self-discovery. It focuses on a participant’s greatest assets and strengths that contribute to the work readiness and preparation for their next phase in the career journey. The purpose of self-understanding is to develop a clear and accurate self-understanding through assessments, work, and education experiences.
Phase Two: Option Exploration
Use the strengths identified during the self-understanding step to explore job families and their occupations that are congruent and achievable. Use labor market data from various sites below to facilitate your search.
